Zweite Komposition is a companion release to the new extended-play, Komposition. Usually, a band will plan to release a full-length album and either first output an EP to build buzz, or afterwards so the B-sides don’t get tossed in the dumpster. Deleter simply decided to just create two EPs in close succession to one another. Nevertheless, don’t think of Zweite Komposition as cutting room floor scraps not suitable for a proper release; all of the material presented is quite competent to instill a sense of urgency and restlessness in the listener. Slightly smoother but by no means any less edgy, Zweite Komposition is more influenced by late 70's Wire and Psychedelic Furs than it's more immediate counterpart. With strong command of their instruments, clever arrangements, and biting commentary of the world around them, Deleter keeps proving they are one of the best band in Minneapolis right now time-and-again. Add Zweite Komposition to the list of evidence. Released on cassette with an accompanying digital download in an edition of 77 copies.
